Redknapp wants Crouch back

Harry Redknapp, the man in charge of QPR, would like to get reunited with Peter Crouch this winter. He said that in the press conference after his team’s encounter against Stoke City a few days ago.
That match had ended in a draw as both the teams had found the net twice. The second goal for Stoke was scored by Crouch.
Crouch, despite being 33 now, showed tremendous agility while completing that strike. He beat his former England teammate Rio Ferdinand on his way through to make the score 2-1 in the favour of his team.
The Rangers, later on, managed to level thanks to Niko Kranjcar.
It was the first draw that QPR played in the league this season. Out of their previous 4 games, they had lost 3, while, won one. This draw moved them slightly up to no. 18 in the table.
As far as the Potters are concerned, their position in the table is not that good either. They are better than QPR though, standing at no. 13 with 5 points.
Answering the questions of the media at the end of that game, Redknapp said, “I obviously want Peter to join me here at QPR. I have had the opportunity of working with him at quite a few clubs. He’s absolutely fantastic.”
Redknapp and Crouch have worked together at three clubs before and at all those places; the striker has played fine under the 67-year old.
Redknapp, according to the reports, was actually interested in purchasing Crouch during the summer itself, but, he failed in his attempt.
His words suggest that he would give it a try again come next year and he might succeed then as Mark Hughes, the manager of Stoke City, is believed to be planning to sell some veteran players.
