According to Antonio Conte, Roman Abramovich is a very demanding employer

Antonio Conte is currently going through his first season as the head coach of Chelsea after having penned a 3 year managerial contract with the Premier League club back on April of 2016, the Italian coach has been in charge of Chelsea for around 7 months and he has recently revealed details concerning the head coach of the club, Roman Abramovich as Conte said that the 50 year old Russian businessman is very demanding.

“He’s a very demanding employer but a great football enthusiast. MrAbramovich is an employer and owner who has great passion. He wants to know and understand your ideas. He went to Austria to follow our training sessions. He comes to Cobham to spend time with us and watch the videos I show to my players, because he really wants to understand. I think that this is wonderful.” Chelsea’s Antonio Conte said.

It does not really come as a big surprise to find out that Roman Abramovich is a demanding owner and the Russian businessman does indeed deserve to be as demanding, especially taking into consideration the amount of money that he has been spending ever since taking over the English club back on June of 2003.

In the time lapse of around 13 years since Abramovic taking over of the Premier League club, the club has spent over £1.49bn. A large amount of this money that was spent went to signing new players such as: HernanCrespo, Makelele, Didier Drogba, ArjenRobben, Michael Essien, Andriy Shevchenko and many other high-profile have been signed by Chelsea in the last few years.

The majority of the funds that were needed to sign these players was provided by Roman Abramovic as the Russian businessman has seriously been going deep in his pockets in order to upgrade Chelsea and it has allowed the club to win a number of titles including: UEFA Champions League and the Premier League silverware just to name a few.

Taking into account all of this money that Roman Abramovich has splashed in the past few years, he does deserve to be demanding.
